Supermodel snapped laughing with copper at Heathrow Airport
Monday, 21 April 2008
Naomi Campbell yesterday made up with the policewomen who arrested her on suspicion of assault at Heathrow Airport recently.
The supermodel is said to have apologised to the officers who she spotted on duty at Terminal 3 on her way to catch a Virgin flight to New York.
‘She saw the girls and went straight up to them and started chatting,’ an onlooker tells the Daily Express.
‘She spent about two or three minutes with them and afterwards they said she was so polite and that she apologised for causing any inconvenience when she was arrested.’
Naomi, 37, has been banned from flying on British Airways flights after allegedly spitting in a police officer's face during an incident on 3 April.
She is reported to have become angry and upset after being told one of her bags had not been put on a flight to LA - because it was too heavy.
Naomi is currently on bail pending further enquiries. She spent 7 hours in police custody after the incident.
