Cheryl Cole to quit Girls Aloud?

Singer has lined up solo project with top producer

Cheryl Cole is rumoured to be planning her exit from Girls Aloud.

The singer has been secretly discussing solo plans with top producer T2 – and they've even arranged to hook up in the studio very soon.

'Cheryl and T2 have been in discussions about her solo material,' a source tells The Sun.

'He is the man of the moment, with a lot of pop acts clamouring for his expertise on collaborations. Cheryl is keen to get cracking on new material.'

Meanwhile, Cheryl, 24, was snapped with a huge smile as she left Nobu restaurant in London on Monday night.

Pictured with bandmate Nicola Roberts, 22, she was wearing a £1,100 frock Herve Leger dress.

But she didn't have her wedding ring on.

Cheryl hasn't worn the band since it was revealed her husband Ashley Cole, 27, had cheated.

UPDATE:

Cheryl's spokesperson has denied claims she's leaving Girls Aloud.

'There is a story today saying Cheryl is set to work on solo material with producer T2,' the rep says. 'The story is absolute rubbish. Cheryl has no plans to record solo material and has never met or spoken to T2. Cheryl and the rest of the girls are currently in the middle of rehersals for their upcoming tour and have no plans to split up.'
