Geri Halliwell planning baby No 2 with new man

Ginger's feeling broody again

Although Geri Halliwell has only just started hanging out with Spice Girls backing dancer Ivan 'Flipz' Velez, 29, she's already sizing him up as a dad.

Ginger Spice, 35, was considering using a sperm donor to father a brother or sister for daughter Bluebell, 2, before she met Ivan, but now, well...

'Until recently, Ivan regarded her as just a "friend with benefits", but Geri went from zero to 100mph in seconds and is talking babies,' says a dancer pal.

'He's shocked, but he knows how much attention he'll get from dating a Spice Girl. 'The other band members ribbed Geri on tour about being the "Solo Spice". That's why she went for Flipz.

'Geri's pushing forward with this relationship after the bitter way it ended with David Walliams last year. But, really, Geri can hardly talk. There were rumours that she was seeing three dancers at the same time on tour.'

Geri, who's obsessed with astrology, didn't believe David was 'the one' because, in Chinese astrology, he was born in the year of the Pig and she's a Rat. They're also both Leos, which in Geri's eyes is a no-no. A friend of Geri says:

'She vets all men – she'll work out their compatibility with astrological charts.'

Geri has a strict career plan and sees the US as a big part of it. She's releasing one children's book every month for six months from 2 May, beginning with Ugenia Lavender. She also wants to rival Angelina Jolie and be more active in her role as a UN goodwill ambassador.

'Geri really believes she can take on the world,' says our source. 'She does have an unbelievable determination to succeed and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.'
