SHOCK! Melinda Messenger splits from husband

Mum-of-three having trial separation from Wayne Roberts

Melinda Messenger is having a trial separation from husband Wayne Roberts.

The pair were childhood sweethearts and have been married for 10 years.

‘They seemed to have a fairytale marriage by showbiz standards,’ says a friend. ‘But obviously there have been difficulties with Melinda becoming such a big star and Wayne having to remain in the background.

'The split’s very amicable and they want to put the needs of their children above all else.’

Mel, 37 - who has battled severe post-natal depression – and Wayne, 30, have 3 children - Morgan, 8, Flynn, 6, and Evie, 4.

The former Page 3 Girl's agent Jane Brent confirmed they are spending some time apart.

‘They’re having a trial separation,’ she tells The Sun. ‘They request that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.’
