Biography

Larger than life glamour model and TV personality, Katie Andre (née Price) – also known as Jordan – is a British tabloid and celebrity magazine favourite.

Born and raised in Brighton, talented horsewoman Katie soon swapped the pier for Page 3 after being snapped up by a London modelling agency and The Sun newspaper.

Encouraged on a glamour shoot to adopt the alias Jordan, she swiftly enhanced her physical profile too – increasing her cup size from a B to an F and subsequently appeared in six Playboy special editions.

Her risqué style, antics on the nightclub circuit and turbulent love life have kept Jordan firmly in the paparazzi lens. A tryst with singer Dane Bowers, which led to an abortion, and a liaison with former Pop Idol winner Gareth Gates were well publicised, as was the arrival in 2002 of her first child, Harvey, who was born blind.

Jordan created a rumble in the jungle in the 2004 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! when she flirted with singer Peter Andre. The pair quickly became a couple and had their first child, Junior, before marrying in September 2005. They later released an album of duets, A Whole New World, and starred in their own fly-on-the-wall spin-off show as well as welcoming their second child together, daughter Princess Tiáamii. Another reality TV series with her husband began on ITV2 in March 2008.

From exercise videos and perfume ranges to a memorable bid to represent the UK at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest – despite performing in a skin-tight pink catsuit while pregnant, she lost the public vote – Jordan has gone from busty Baywatch wannabe to a business-minded jack-of-all-trades. She has released three bestselling autobiographies, a children's book, Mermaids And Pirates, and, according to the Daily Mail, is one of the richest women in Britain.
