Tom Cruise's adopted son lands first movie deal

Connor impresses casting director at auditions for The Trial Of The Chicago 7

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's adopted son Connor has been offered his first acting role – starring opposite Will Smith.

The 13-year-old is said to have wowed casting bosses at The Trial Of The Chicago 7, directed by Steven Spielberg.

'Tom is thrilled as Connor went through the audition process like any other child,' a source tells the News Of The World.

'Nicole's excited too because now he's getting his big break.'

Tom and Nicole also have adopted daughter Isabella, 15.

Nicole, 40, is pregnant with her first baby with husband Keith Urban, 40.

Tom, 45, has daughter Suri, 2, with wife Katie Holmes, 29.
