Sting buys £13.4m New York apartment

Police singer splashes out on 5-bedroom home

Sting has bought a luxury £13.4m apartment in the exclusive Central Park West region of New York.

The 5-bedroom home comes complete with an indoor swimming pool and terrace.

The singer, real name Gordon Summer, is said to have closed the deal last month, reports the Daily Mirror.

Sting, 56, and wife Trudie Styler, 54, are expected to move into the property later this year.

He also has homes in London, Wiltshire, Los Angeles and Tuscany.

Meanwhile, U2 frontman Bono, 47, sold his Central Park West apartment for £2.5m last week.
