BB star raises cash for cystic fibrosis charity

Kate Lawler ran the Flora London Marathon in her undies yesterday.

The BB star raised £3,670 for a cystic fibrosis charity.

Kate, 27, dressed in skimpy black Ann Summers bra and knickers, finished the race finished in 4 hours 54 minutes.

‘This is my first and last marathon. Never will I put my body through that again,’ she tells the Daily Star.

Other celebrity runners included Gordon Ramsay, 41, actors Jonny Lee Miller, 35, Amanda Holden, 37, and Phil Daniels, 49, TV presenter Ben Fogle, 34, 2007 Apprentice winner Simon Ambrose, 27, and Boyzone's Ronan Keating, 31.

But chef Gordon, who completed his 9th marathon in 3 hours 45 minutes, was snapped getting a soaking as he made his way along the course.

‘This was a day for true British spirit,’ he tells the Daily Record. ‘The crowds were hanging on in there despite the rain. They were fantastic.

'A guy on Tower Bridge yelled: “Run, fat boy, run,” at me, which was a boost. I always said I'd do 10 for the charities, so next year is the last one.’
