Singer to return to her roots with next recording
Monday, 14 April 2008
Charlotte Church is said to be planning to return to her classical music roots.
The singer started her career at just 11 when she was called the Voice of an Angel, but changed tack in 2005 when she released a pop album.
Now she is said to be having secret singing lessons to re-tune her voice.
'Charlotte wants to get back to the songs that launched her career,' a source tells the Daily Record.
'She's fed up with the pop stuff she's done and she's realised that her classical voice has got even better.'
Charlotte, 22, has recently taken time out of the limelight to spend time with her daughter Ruby, 7 months.
She will return to TV with The Charlotte Church Show for Channel 4 in the summer.
