Pete Doherty receives ‘five-star treatment’, claims jail source

Fellow lags said to be upset at singer getting special privileges

Pete Doherty has been accused of getting ‘five-star treatment’ while in jail.

It's claimed he has 2 mattresses and a cell to himself – which is said to have angered fellow lags at West London’s Wormwood Scrubs Prison.

‘He’s in the segregation unit because of who he is,’ says a source. ‘It’s thought he could be vulnerable.

'He’s been put on enhanced privileges, which means he can have virtually what he wants, so that includes an extra mattress, TV and radio.

'It’s basically the five-star treatment, which takes most prisoners weeks of good behaviour to achieve,' the source tells The Sun.

Pete, 29, was sentenced to 14 weeks for breaking the terms of his probation.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star claims his ex Kate Moss, 34, has recorded a video message to help him get through his time behind bars on the behest of Pete's mum Jaqueline.
