Rapper released without charge after wife's claims he attacked her
Monday, 14 April 2008
Vanilla Ice was released from police custody yesterday after being arrested last Thursday.
Officers had been called to the Florida Home of the rapper – real name Robert Van Winkle – after his wife Laura told police he had 'struck' and 'kicked' her.
She later changed her story saying he had merely 'pushed' her.
A judge ruled that Vanilla Ice, 40, could not have any contact with his partner Laura, except by phone.
He will appear in court on 5 May, reports People.
