Trisha Goddard leaves hospital after cancer operation

TV presenter hopes to be back at work soon

Trisha Goddard has discharged herself from hospital – just 3 days after an operation to beat breast cancer.

The TV presenter, 50, had surgery to remove lymph nodes from her chest after tests showed they contained traces of the deadly disease.

But 72 hours later she was back in her Norfolk home.

'Trisha is being incredibly strong, as you would expect,' her husband Peter Gianfrancesco tells the News Of The World.

'She'll be back doing her shows in no time. She doesn't want to feel like a sick person, she just wants to be treated normally and get back to work.'
