OMG! Nicole Richie’s baby says her first word

Harlow tries to talk to her grandma

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's daughter Harlow has apparently said her first word – and she's only 3 months old.

‘The other day I was holding her and Harlow said Hi,' Nicole's mum Brenda says. 'I said: "Nicole, did you hear that?” Nicole said: “I don't think she knew what she was saying!”

‘Nicole talks to Harlow constantly and she tries to answer back.’

It seems the Simple Life star, 26, can hardly bear to be parted from her newborn.

‘Motherhood is like nothing I could have imagined,’ she tells Us Weekly.

‘It's beyond amazing and my family has been supportive.’

Nicole's dad Lionel Richie has also said he wants Harlow to call him G-Pa, because he thinks Grandpa sounds too old.
