Kylie Minogue's album bombs in America

But Leona Lewis is on course to top the US charts with Spirit

Kylie Minogue's album X has failed to make a dent in the charts in America, selling just 11,732 copies.

The Aussie singer has been on a media tour of the States to promote the record.

But Kylie, 39, has still only come in at No139 in the US album chart.

But it's better news for Leona Lewis, 23.

Her debut album Spirit looks set to top the US charts this week and sales are expected to hit 200,000, reports The Sun.

This would make her the first British female artist to go straight in at No1 with a debut album.
