SEE VIDEO Ant and Dec buy rights for Byker Grove

TV presenters take ownership of all their old kids' shows

Ant and Dec

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have bought the rights to all their old children's TV shows, including Byker Grove and SM:TV Live.

The Georgie pair snapped them up after the company that made them, Zenith Entertainment, went bust.

‘The shows are an important part of our history so we wanted to take over the rights,’ Dec, 32, tells The Sun.

‘That way, if anyone wants to show them they have to come to us to get permission.’

The two shot to fame playing PJ and Duncan on Byker Grove in the 90s.

The programmes will now be property of their own company Gallowgate Productions.
