SHOCK! Ashley Cole snapped without wedding ring

Footie hunk is snapped without his gold band - just like wife Cheryl

Ashley Cole was photographed without his wedding ring while out in London yesterday.

Wife Cheryl has not been wearing her band since single mum Aimee Walton, 22, claimed she had unprotected sex with the footie hunk last year.

‘The fact he is walking around for everyone to see he hasn’t got his wedding ring on suggests the rift between them is really serious after all,’ a source tells the Daily Star.

But Ashley, 27, appears to be making an effort to get back in Cheryl’s good books.

He was snapped buying chocolate from a petrol station and then stocking up on some expensive perfume at a West End store, reports the Daily Mirror.

A spokesman for Cheryl, 24, declined to comment on the current state of the couple's relationship.
