George Clooney denies engagement rumours

Actor says he's not getting married to girlfriend Sarah Larson

George Clooney has rubbished claims that he's got engaged to Sarah Larson.

'My BlackBerry woke me up the other day,' he says. 'It was buzzing away and, when I looked at the message, it said that I was getting married. I thought: "Wow, someone should tell Sarah!"'

George, 46, who divorced actress Talia Balsam, 49, in 1993, is also keen to play down his sex symbol status.

'How do I feel about being a fantasy man for women? If people see me up close, they'd soon change their minds,' he tells the Daily Telegraph.

'Anyway, people's fantasy guys change every 15 minutes. So you just take those things as compliments, knowing that it will all change fairly quickly.'

George has been dating former bar worker Sarah, 29, since last year.
