Amy Winehouse giggles at Pete Doherty's jail sentence

Rehab star thinks Babyshambles star is 'a bit of a clown'

Amy Winehouse reportedly broke into a fit of giggles when she learned that pal Pete Doherty has been sent to jail.

'Amy's first reaction when she heard was to laugh,' a source tells The Sun. 'Pete had told everyone he was going to court for a quick appearance and had no idea he was going to jail.

'She just laughed and kept saying: "I can't believe it." Pete's just a comedy character to Amy. She thinks he's a bit of a clown.'

Pete, 29, has been locked up at London's Wormwood Scrubs Prison for breaking the terms of his probation.
