Sales manager is third person thrown off the BBC show
Thursday, 10 April 2008
Ian Stringer got booted off The Apprentice last night leaving Kevin Shaw smiling smugly.
The sales manager was given the elbow by Sir Alan Sugar after failing to keep the boys' team in control during a pub catering task.
Bank manger Kevin was appointed head chef, 24, but he struggled to negotiate prices, often using his fingers to add up.
But his poor attempt to run the restaurant wasn't enough to get him fired. Instead, Sir Alan took pity on him and blamed team leader Ian, 26, for the the boys' weak performance.
Television engineer Simon Smith, 35, was also in the boardroom but was given a second chance.
