Ditching her loser boyfriend is only step one of Jade's comeback plan
Saturday, 12 April 2008
Jade Goody says she dumped Jack Tweed because she couldn't trust him.
But Now can reveal that she's planning to relaunch her career – and one-time football agent Jack, 20, doesn't feature in her plans.
Now, 15 months on from the Celebrity Big Brother racism row, Jade's grown in confidence and believes that the public are willing to forgive and forget.
She's planning a comeback with a new agent and new TV show Jade's Fit Camp, along with two other series that are in the pipeline.
'Jade and Jack got back together after their split, but it wasn't the same,' a friend tells Now.
'Of course she's upset – she'd spent three years of her life with Jack and he had a relationship with her boys Bobby, 4, and Freddy, 3 – but they'd done their best to make it work.'
Although there's no doubt that Jade, 26, was fed up with reading kiss'n'tells on her boyfriend, ditching Jack is part of a fresh career onslaught for Jade.
She wants to distance herself from the Celeb BB racism disgrace and thinks that viewers still haven't forgotten embarrassing scenes of Jack pleasuring himself on the show.
'She thinks that without Jack and the sleazy tales of his affairs with other women, she'd do better as the loveable, ditzy Jade that viewers fell in love with the first time around on Big Brother,' her friend says.
'She's going back to the reality TV shows that made her famous. She's never claimed to be perfect, but she's willing to learn from her mistakes.'
