Jay Z will still headline the Glastonbury festival, says organiser Emily Eavis.
The rapper sparked fears that he would cancel when it was confirmed earlier this week that he will appear at rival event O2 Wireless on 3 July.
His team had previously claimed the Glastonbury gig – held on 27-29 June – would be Jay Z’s only UK festival this year.
But Emily has set the record straight.
‘I spoke to his production people yesterday and everyone is totally upbeat about Jay’s appearance here,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.
The hip hop mogul, 38, was said to be upset that there hadn’t been much interest in his appearance.
Tickets went on sale on Saturday, but were still available yesterday. They normally sell out within hours.
But Emily insists there's been 'a really great response'.
Meanwhile, Jay Z left new wife Beyonce Knowles, 26, just days after their wedding to go to his 40/40 Club in Manhattan to watch a basketball match on TV on Monday.
