Uni wants to protect privacy of Prince Harry's girlfriend
Wednesday, 9 April 2008
University Of Leeds bosses are said to have asked student newspaper Leeds Student not to write about Chelsy Davy.
Prince Harry’s girlfriend is studying law there.
Uni heads want to protect her privacy after a male student set up a Facebook group called By The End Of The Year I Want To Sniff Chelsy's Hair.
‘We heard about the prank but they banned us writing about it,’ a source from the paper tells the Daily Mirror.
‘Then they banned any mention of Chelsy. A student paper should have free speech.
'Chelsy's really normal and just tries to fit in. Things like this are just going to single her out.’
Chelsy, 22, has been dating Harry, 23, for 3 years.
A university spokesman declined to comment.
