SHOCK! Toni Braxton rushed to hospital

R&B star cancels Las Vegas show because of chest pains

Toni Braxton was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital yesterday.

The singer, 40, had been suffering from chest pains and had to cancel Tuesday evening's concert.

Toni has previously been treated for pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the heart.

She is expected to be released after tests and is said to be keen to get back to work.

‘We wish Toni a quick recovery and would like her to take the time she needs to regain optimal health,’ Don Marrandino of Flamingo Showroom, where Toni has been performing, tells the BBC.

‘We are looking forward to her return at the end of the week.’
