Actor says he'll never Google himself again
Tuesday, 8 April 2008
George Clooney says he's been the victim of internet abuse.
The actor said he had a bad experience when he logged on to an online chatroom.
'A few years ago I went to check out this website that someone had talked about,' he says. 'There's like, a thousand people sitting in dark rooms trashing you. Brutal! You're like: "Wow, dude!"'
Now he says he'll never try Googling himself again.
'You see way too many angry people,' he tells the Daily Express. 'I remember thinking: "Never ever again". I'd rather live in my own happy world where I think everyone is nice.'
Meanwhile, George, 46, is starring in new movie Leatherheads, about an American football player.
