Mischa Barton to avoid jail in drink driving case

Actress's lawyer said to have agreed a plea deal

Sources say Mischa Barton will accept a plea deal at her drink driving court hearing in LA this Thursday.

The actress is thought to be pleading no contest – and will agree to 3 year's probation to avoid spending time behind bars.

Mischa, 22, will also be fined £850 and have to attend alcohol-education classes, reports People.

The OC star was arrested in LA last December after police spotted her weaving between two lanes of traffic and failing to signal for a turn.

A charge for possession of marijuana is likely be dropped due to the small amount she was found with.

Mischa said recently: 'I'm really disappointed in myself. I don't ever intend to do something this stupid again.'
