Supermodel expected to be given a caution
Monday, 7 April 2008
Naomi Campbell may not face charges after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer at Heathrow Airport last week.
The supermodel is said to have become upset after being told one of her bags had been lost at the troubled Terminal 5.
But insiders believe she won't face charges if she accepts a caution. She could have faced up to 6 months in jail.
‘The Crown Prosecution Service will be consulted but the expected outcome is a caution,’ a police source tells the News Of The World.
Naomi, 37, is currently on bail pending further enquiries. She spent 7 hours in police custody after the incident.
