Ex-Coronation Street star expecting first child with Ryan Thomas

Tina O’Brien is pregnant.

The actress, who starred as Sarah Grimshaw in Coronation Street, is expecting her first child with former co-star Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw), 23.

Tina, 24, quit the ITV1 soap in December and is believed to be 12 weeks gone.

‘The baby wasn’t planned, but now the news has sunk in they couldn’t be happier,’ says a source.

‘It may not be the best timing in terms of her career, but she loves Ryan and they know they can make this work. Tina has a city centre flat in Manchester but has just bought a big house in Cheshire as she wants a quieter home better suited to having children.’

A Corrie spokeswoman says the couple are over the moon.

‘Ryan and Tina can confirm they are expecting a baby and are absolutely delighted at the happy news,’ she tells The Sun.
