Ingrid Tarrant has won a reported £12.5m divorce settlement - half of ex-husband Chris Tarrant's estimated £25m fortune.
The mum-of-four, 53, is believed to be receiving a £5.5m cash lump sum as part of the deal.
She’ll also keep her £3.5m Cobham mansion home, the couple's £1.5m Cote d'Azur villa, a £1.5m house in Esher, Surrey, and Chris's former £500,000 apartment in Battersea, London.
Ingrid is chuffed the ordeal is over.
‘We have finally settled,’ she tells the Daily Mail. ‘I feel like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I have my life back and my time back. Divorce is a very time-consuming situation. It's horrible and it's vile.
‘I cannot go into the details. I cannot talk to you about money. All I can say is that I have got my freedom and you cannot put a price on that. I have not spoken to Chris since we split and I do not think that will change.’
A spokesman for Chris, 61, confirmed the news: ‘They have settled and it was amicable.’
The pair split in September 2006 after it emerged that the TV presenter had a 10-year affair with teacher Fiona McKechnie, 50.
Ingrid and Chris - her second husband - have 2 children together, Samantha, 18, and Toby, 16.
