Self-employed Shazia Wahab is shown the door

Shazia Wahab has become the second person to be ousted by Sir Alan Sugar in the latest series of The Apprentice.

A self-proclaimed 'stubborn cow', she might have thought experience in managing her own mosaic-making business would help her to victory on the hit TV show.

But she was unable to piece the girl's team together last night as they failed miserably in their task of running a laundry.

Shazia, 35, abandoned her labelling duties, leading to customers being given the wrong clothes.

Back in the boardroom Sir Alan, 61, described her actions as 'heinous'.

But the fired candidate believes her arty background put him off.

'I wrote "mosaic artist" on my application form,' she says in her exit interview. 'I think Sir Alan saw that and decided that I must be a stereotype; someone arty without business acumen.

'I believe he was worried I wouldn't cope with his hard business world.'
