Kym Ryder's secret manhunt

Corrie star's been seen shopping for sexy undies and partying with pals

When Kym and Jack Ryder announced the end of their 5-year marriage on 20 March, the news came as no big surprise.

They claimed that the split had only just happened, but Now can reveal that the relationship collapsed four months ago.

'It's never been the same since Kym became a household name in Corrie,' says a source. 'She and Jack were constantly clashing about careers and babies, to the point where a split was inevitable.'

Kym, 31, is definitely getting ready to find a new man.

Two days before their split was publicly announced, she went on a secret shopping trip to the Manchester branch of lingerie store La Senza with Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett, 25.

Kym giggled as she held up a lacy red G-string and looked anything but depressed about her marriage falling apart.

In recent weeks, Kym's also been out partying without Jack, 26, which was unheard of while they were married.

But there are a few issues to resolve before Kym can fully move on. She still shares a house with Jack in Appleton Thorn, Cheshire – they moved there at Christmas, which is when the relationship irretrievably broke down.

They also have her two children from a previous relationship – David, 12, and Emily, 10 – to consider. Jack treats them as his own, which means Kym will have to tread carefully in any new relationship.
