George Clooney: I was held at gunpoint by muggers

Actor says he was robbed by kids in Sudan

George Clooney has revealed he was held at gunpoint on a recent trip to Sudan.

The actor, 46, was going through checkpoints when a group of youths approached him.

'There were all these young kids with AK47s,' he tells Zoo.

'They pointed guns at us and stole what they could. It happens all the time.'

But luckily the group didn't realise George, 46, was a Hollywood movie star.

'They don't have great TV out there!' he jokes.
