Katherine Heigl: I told my husband to propose

Actress says she wasn't shy with Josh Kelley

Katherine Heigl has admitted she pushed her husband Josh Kelley to propose.

The actress says she sat him down and asked where their relationship was heading.

'I strongly suggested he should propose,' Katherine says.

'I asked: "How do you feel about marriage? Where do you feel this relationship is going"'

And shortly after the musician went down on one knee.

'He was so nervous, which I found really endearing,' she tells Hello! 'He took me back to the beach where we first met. It was really romantic.'

Katherine, 29, and Josh, 27, married in December.
