Trisha Goddard undergoes breast cancer op

Talk show host has second operation to beat disease

Brave Trisha Goddard underwent surgery yesterday for her battle against cancer.

Doctors removed cells from one of her breasts to find out how far the disease has spread.

It's her a second operation in a month. Trisha, 50, had a lump removed 3 weeks ago after a routine mammogram.

Her agent announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer on Monday.

Trisha is expected to check out of hospital to return to her Norfolk home with her husband Peter Gianfrancesco and 2 kids later this week.

'Trisha is a much valued member of the Five family and we wish her all the very best for a speedy recovery,' Jane Lighting, Five’s Chief Executive, told Now Online.
