Singer unlikely to release new record until 2009

Amy Winehouse doesn't feel ready to record a new album.
Her record company Island Records are reported to have booked her on a trip to the Bahamas to begin start laying down tracks in the studio – but Amy didn't want to go.
'Island wanted to get her away from it all and thought it would be great surroundings for her,' says a source.
'It was a very expensive trip and it was hoped they would make some decent progress recording the album. But Amy pulled out at the last minute. The album was planned for late 2008, but her label is now privately admitting it's unlikely to happen until 2009.'
Bizarrely, sources say Amy, 24, who is currently working with Mark Ronson, 32, on the new James Bond theme in Oxfordshire, has put the album on the backburner because she's got a backload of ironing to do.
'She has become absolutely obsessed with ironing things,' the source tells The Sun. 'Not just her clothes but also towels, sheets, scarves. Anything really. She's a very obsessive person and has always been addicted to something.'
