Actress to follow in Nicole Kidman's footsteps
Friday, 28 March 2008
Katie Holmes is in final negotiations to make her stage debut in Broadway production All My Sons.
The actress, 29, will play a woman visiting the family of a missing pilot she once loved in the post-World War II drama.
‘This play will be like a shop window for Katie,’ a theatre expert tells the Daily Mail.
‘It's kind of a neat idea. Nicole Kidman had Hollywood eating out of her hand when she was in The Blue Room.’
Katie’s role would mean being on stage 6 nights a week, leaving husband Tom Cruise, 45, to babysit daughter Suri, 23 months.
