Singer lays flowers for Jason Rae after drug death

Corinne Bailey Rae paid an emotional tribute to her husband Jason after his unexpected death last weekend.

The singer laid flowers and heather at a 32ft memorial cross on the moors near her home in Otley, West Yorkshire, yesterday.

Corinne, 29, was devastated when Jason, 31, was found dead at a friend’s flat in Leeds on Saturday.

A pathologist’s report has pointed to an overdose, but further tests are said to be needed.

Music producer Mark Ronson, 32, pays tribute to his friend on his MySpace page. ‘It’s such a sad, sad thing,’ he says.

‘I’m sorry that I can’t really put anything into words. However, I will say that he was an incredible dude, a lovely gentle man, one of the funniest people ever.’
