Amy Winehouse: Pal's drug death convinces her to seek help

Jason Rae’s overdose acts as wake-up call

Amy Winehouse has agreed to enter rehab following the death of Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband Jason Rae.

Jason, who had worked as a backing musician for the Rehab singer, was found dead after a suspected overdose in a flat in Leeds on Saturday.

His death at just 31 is believed to have forced Amy to think about her future.

‘She says she can’t believe this has happened and that she is still alive – and she can’t let this be her future,’ a source tells the Daily Express.

‘She sees it as a wake-up call that she must stop.’

Amy, 24, completed a 2 week stint in rehab at London’s Capio Nightingale Hospital in January.

Her management are now said to be considering flying her out to a clinic in Cape Town, South Africa.

Corinne, 28, is devastated at her husband's death and is being comforted by relatives.
