Chanelle Hayes to be the next Kylie Minogue?

Big Brother 8 star launches pop career

Forget her claims to wannabe Posh – Chanelle Hayes is releasing her debut single and hopes to rival princess of pop Kylie Minogue.

The BB star is set to perform her new song I Want It on stage this week using a Swarovski crystal-encrusted microphone belonging to the Aussie singer.

‘It’s really exciting launching my pop career,’ she says. ‘Who can compare themselves to Kylie? She’s amazing! But I’d love to be as successful as her.’

Chanelle – who's appearing in VH1’s fly-on-the-wall show Chanelle: Wannabe Popstar next month - has compared her musical style to Britney Spears.

‘The song actually sounds a bit like recent Britney,’ she says.

The 20-year-old says she's been working 15-hour days on her new pop venture.

‘I’ve even had to put my plans for a boob job on hold because I couldn’t afford to take three weeks off,’ she tells the Daily Star.
