Guy Ritchie's dad: Everything is fine between Guy and Madonna

John Ritchie insists his son is happy

Sunday, 30 March 2008

Guy Ritchie's dad John has denied claims that his son's marriage to Madonna is on the rocks.

'They're happy,' he says. 'I was shocked when I read they were supposed to having problems. I haven't seen any evidence.'

John reckons too much has been made out of the couple's busy schedules.

'They've been running around different places,' he tells Star. 'That's why they haven't been seen together. Guy's been finishing off his film and Madonna's been busy with work.

'She won't be going out to live in America for good. They've got lovely places to live here and there.'

And John says he's seen first hand how loved up Guy, 39, and Madonna, 49, are.

'I see nothing wrong,' he adds. 'Everything is fine. I'm going to see them and the children soon. I don't get to see them often but, when I do, they seem happy and in love. There's nothing to suggest there's any trouble.'
