Coleen McLoughlin apologises to Victoria Beckham

WAG phones Posh to explain why she didn't invite her to wedding

Coleen McLoughlin has apologised to Victoria Beckham for not inviting her and Becks to her summer nuptials to Manchester United star Wayne Rooney, 22.

The WAG has only invited close friends and family to attend the wedding, so she rang Posh, 33, to explain.

'Victoria appreciated the call,' a source tells the Sunday People.

'She was impressed that Coleen, who's a lot younger than her, was mature enough to do it.'

Coleen, 21, and Wayne are expected to tie the knot in the Mediterranean in June.

They are rumoured to have organised a champagne reception on board a luxury yacht.
