Amy Winehouse's mum would like to help her troubled daughter more but can't because of her own fragile health.
Janis Winehouse suffers from multiple sclerosis (MS), a disabling neurological condition which affects the central nervous system.
Constantly trying to save 24-year-old Amy from herself is just too much.
‘I just can’t do all that running around to wherever there’s been a problem,’ she tells The Sun.
So Janis, 52, says she relies on ex-husband Mitch, 57, to rush to their daughter's side at times of crisis.
‘He does a great job on behalf of both of us,’ she says.
