Strictly Come Dancing presenter believes in husband Vernon Kay
Sunday, 23 March 2008
Tess Daly never worries about husband Vernon Kay misbehaving.
The good-looking TV presenters, who met at a BBC Christmas party, are well matched.
Tess's late father worked in a wallpaper factory and she and Vernon, 33, clicked because they come from a similar background, with shared values
'It just felt really right,' Tess, 36, explains. 'It felt like I'd come home. I met his family and they felt like an extension of my family.'
The couple, who live in Buckinghamshire, have a daughter Phoebe, 3.
'Being a mummy, God, it's all-consuming!' Tess tells You magazine.
'[Vern] loves me, he loves our family. One would hope that that is what is important at the end of the day. And I trust him. I have to, because what's the alternative?
'You've got to believe in the bloke you're with, right? Or we'd both be unhappy.'
