Spice Girl will play a ‘tough-talking detective’

Mel B is going back to her acting roots playing a character in the new Magnum P.I. film, which is due out in 2009.
The Spice Girl will play a ‘tough-talking detective’, reports the Daily Star.
The original US TV show starred Tom Selleck, 63, as a private investigator living in Hawai
Mel, 32, is thought to have got the part after becoming a household name in the States when she was runner-up on hit show Dancing With The Stars last year.
