Pink turns down request to give marriage a second chance

Singer tells husband Carey Hart it can't work between them

Pink has refused pleas from her estranged husband Carey Hart to give their marriage another go.

The couple have been married for just a year – and Carey, 32, is trying to convince her they could still work things out.

‘Carey thinks they should give things more time,’ a source tells the Daily Record. ‘But Pink believes that, although she loves him, marriage doesn’t work for them.’

Pink, 28, announced her separation from the motocross star last month.

'The decision was made by best friends and with a huge amount of love and respect for one another,' her spokesman said at the time. 'While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.'

The couple met in 2001 and married in January 2006.
