Pete Doherty plays impromptu gig

Singer picks up guitar at second-hand music store

Pete Doherty surprised shoppers at a second-hand music store by treating them to a couple of songs.

The singer picked up a guitar at the Music Man shop in Reading and started strumming away.

Pete, 29, has promised to return to the shop, hinting that he might perform again.

'He had a whale of a time,' owner Peter Sirrell tells the Daily Mirror. 'He asked me to put by a £150 guitar for him and said he'd be back later to pay for it.'
