Dancing On Ice winner was inspired by Richard Carlson
Sunday, 23 March 2008
Suzanne Shaw became 2008 winner of Dancing On Ice last week and her self belief was inspired by a special book.
The former Hear'Say star, 26, learnt to use positive thinking - and it paid off.
'The book that changed my life is You Can Be Happy No Matter What by Richard Carlson,' she admits. 'I find a lot of self-help books too spiritual, but this explains how your brain works and how to make a thought into a reality.'
Suzanne was dumped by former fiancé Darren Day - dad to her son Corey, 3 - but now lives in Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire with new boyfriend, DJ Jason King.
There she loves to watch Kiefer Sutherland in 24 with a class of Chardonnay and a plate of chips soaked in salt and vinegar.
'I’m addicted to 24. I’m dedicating all my spare time to watching it,' she says. 'I’m on season six and I love it.'
