David Beckham: I express my feelings through my tattoos

Soccer star inks his body to reveal his heart

David Beckham says he reveals his innermost feeling through his body art. The LA Galaxy soccer star has 15 body tattoos in total.

'I think everybody's got a way of expressing their feelings, and mine is through my tattoos,' he says.

Becks, 32, has a sexy image of wife Victoria on his left arm and three cherubs on his right arm - representing sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Most recently, the footballer had a strip of Chinese symbols inked down the left side of his torso.

It is reported to say: ‘Death and life have determined appointments. Riches and honour depend upon heaven.’

David believes his move to America has been a success despite suffering from a series of injuries.

‘We’re enjoying it, family wise,’ he says. ‘Soccer is a magical game. I’m very confident fans here in America will continue to see that. There’s no reason they can’t be as passionate about soccer as they are about every other sport here.’
