Ashley Cole to buy wife Cheryl new £160,000 wedding ring

Footie hunk is concerned that she’s not wearing her old band

Ashley Cole is reportedly planning to buy wife Cheryl a brand new wedding ring – worth double the price of the original.

The Girls Aloud singer has not been wearing her £80,000 band since single mum Aimee Walton, 22, claimed she had sex with Ashley, 27, last year.

‘Ashley is crushed every time Cheryl refuses to wear the ring,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘He is desperate for them to move on and is keen to make her happy. He wants to buy a new ring, twice as blinging, and will easily spend £160,000.

‘He wants Cheryl to have the choice of wearing something new if she can't face wearing the old one because it brings back bad memories.’

On Saturday Cheryl, 24, partied without her husband at London’s Burlington club with bandmates Sarah Harding, 26, Nicola Roberts, 22, and Kimberley Walsh, 26.
