Hollywood star given huge bash by Scientology pals

Tom Cruise dismisses claims that he's No 2 in the Church of Scientology.

But the Hollywood star, 45, is obviously a big cheese in the sect. For his birthday in 2004, his co-believers celebrated with a huge bash on Scientology cruise ship, Freewinds.

Tom sings, dances and even does the splits.

In this newly discovered video, the birthday boy exclaims: 'This is incredible... It's the best birthday ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, and I mean ever!'

Shame Scientology chief David Miscavige didn't arrange a special cruise around the solar system as an extra special treat.

Scientologists believe that 75 million years ago alien ruler Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft, piled them around volcanoes and blew them up with hydrogen bombs.

These alien souls now stick to the living and their ill effects have to be neutralised.

Of course, followers of Freud would argue that these naughty extraterrestrials in the brain are simply run-of-the-mill neurotic thoughts and impulses.
