George Clooney to return to ER?

Actor being lined-up to appear in final season

George Clooney is reportedly being approached by ER bosses to make a spectacular comeback in the US hospital drama.

The actor, 46, played Dr Doug Ross for 5 seasons in the hit US show, alongside Anthony Edwards as Dr Mark Greene.

Bosses want the popular duo - and other key cast members - to return for what is expected to be the show’s final season next year.

‘We’re gonna try to get them all back,’ a source tells the Daily Star.

ER is shown on Channel 4 in the UK.
